Job Description
DUTIES

-Meet minimum standards for childcare

-Supervise and ensure the health and safety of children at all times
-Develop and implement activity plan for after school children in the afternoon
-Assist public school teacher in the morning
-Teach the children through play while being CREATIVE, FUN,              ATTENTIVE and RESPECTFUL
-Utilize problem solving skills with good judgement
-Communicate with children in a respectful manner using               positive language and open ended questions
-Immediately acknowledge and respond to children in distress

```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma
-CDA preferred but not required
- Must pass criminal background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Reliable and punctual

Skills:
- Care: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to students
- Systems: Familiarity with early childhood education
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures in case of emergencies
- Clean: Ability to maintain a clean and organized learning environment
- Behavior management: Skill in managing student behavior and promoting a positive learning atmosphere

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
